Enhanced Infection Control

Dr. Scrivo has always been a leader in universal precautions for his patients and is compliant with all CDC and OSHA recommendations. He has enhanced patient and staff safety by installing AtmosAir bipolar ionization for air purification currently used in healthcare facilities. Patients and staff will have all necessary PPE to protect themselves including the use of an Isolite evacuation system to reduce aerosols.

AtmosAir Continuous DisinfectionTM

Dr. Scrivo’s office uses the AtmosAIr’s patented Bipolar Ionization technologyTM which has been rigorously tested and scientifically proven to be among the most effective solutions for comprehensive air purification of indoor environments.

Unlike most air purification systems, AtmosAir doesn’t wait for pollutants to find their way into a filter via an HVAC system or another air cleaning device. Instead, it used charged ions that actively seek out and neutralize contaminants at their source. In other words, it works by mimicking the way nature cleanses the air outdoors.

AtmosAir can effectively remove inhalable particles and pathogens – including dust, allergens, molds, VOCs, odors, airborne and surface bacteria, viruses, and germs – making our office a healthy environment for patients.

Single-Use Isolite Mouthpiece

The safety and well-being of Dr. Scrivo’s staff are of the utmost importance. To ensure that each patient feels comfortable and protected, the office uses the Isolite Mouthpiece.

The Isolite Mouthpiece is a soft and flexible barrier that is placed in your mouth for your comfort and to help Dr. Scrivo during your appointment. The mouthpiece helps by:

  • Isolite is used to reduce aerosols
  • Protecting your airway
  • Retracting your tongue, which gives Dr. Scrivo more room to work
  • Continuously remove saliva
  • Giving you something soft to help you keep your mouth open

Each mouthpiece is used only once to prevent the spread of any virus or bacteria, making it a safe and sanitary choice. You can be assured that when you come in for a visit, you will be the first and only patient who will use that mouthpiece.
